this place was all right, service was a little awkward, but nice, food was good and plentiful, i can never finish a falafel wrap, and in general i always get my fill of middle eastern food before the plate is empty

the front of this place is super cool, textured velvet wallpaper, nice bartenders, and a good selection of Ethiopian beer.

They took so long to seat us that we didn't make the all you can eat veggie combo cut off time, but we were still well feed for not too much cash. The back eating area is a little dingy and dark, with bare looking white walls and only a few old posters for atmosphere.

One annoying thing that wasn't really the restaurants fault was that they let a large group of people who were waiting for a table just mill around the restaurant, and while we were finishing up our food they walked over and asked us if we were planning on leaving soon, we kind of laughed at them and told them not to bother us while we finished our food and beers... so nerve.

we'll be back, hopefully eating in the front room.

mediocre salad and pasta, tasty pizza, but i think i'll stick with orgasmica in the embarcadero center

fresh and tasty, but no atmosphere,well a weird atmosphere, it was nice to see some bible passages surrounded by thai gods or demons or whatever, the yam rolls were good and the tofu is a pleasant texture. the sticky rice was hot.... like literally hot, which was weird to me, because i've never had it hot before. so theres that. yeah.

Top's is a fine american diner, pretty meat-centric, i'd probably stick, with my usual brunch spots, like weird fish, boogaloos, and st. francis fountain. If you like your meats in abundance you will probably be in heaven; they will but bacon and sausage inside you waffles, pancakes, and probably in a shake if you asked nicely.

oh but the syrup is so good i put it on my eggs, WEIRD.

You know how some things smell funny/or bad but taste great, i think a lot of Vietnamese food is like that, the sweet and sour soup is great, pineapple in soup! who would have guessed? (hint: the Vietnamese) the the "crepe" was a little odd, but everything else was perfect. except for the smell.

A friend took me here to prove or disprove that they had the best fake chicken in town and it was no contest, we had it in the form a great rendition of General Tso's chicken (not really Chinese I KNOW) but soooo good, also pea sprouts in garlic and wine, so good!

Doobu is really great, went to dinner here with some of my friends and we had a good time, the food is super tasty, and i love my bibimbop in a stone pot, the crispy rice on the bottom is probably one of my favorite things in life.

we ordered a couple beers which entitled us to not only the standard array of panchan but whole fried fish for everyone, rob was able to help out the two of us who were veggie and took care of the extra fish.

Their chili paste is the perfect combination of spicy and sweet.

the only problem was the restaurant was full and they only had one waiter but other than that, perfect.

the food was tasty ( veggie general tso [chao] ) the service was super quick and nice, the "salad" and "soup" were probably to be skipped next time.

The place is a little dingy but, it could just be old, their cleanscore was fine if i remember right. it seems more like a take out than an eat in place although their kitschy ambiance probably does make the food taste better.

3 days of food poisoning! sweet!
